  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Use extra virgin for the best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Herbs (Basil or Oregano) Fresh herbs are recommended.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (about 220°C) or use a toaster.
  • Slice the sourdough into generous pieces about an inch thick.
  • Toast the sourdough until crispy and golden brown.

Assembly

  • Spread a generous layer of ricotta on the warm toasted sourdough.
  • Slice the tomatoes and arrange them on top of the ricotta.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with fresh herbs.
