Ingredients
  

For the Salmon

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (5–6 ounces each) Use skin-on for extra flavor or skinless if preferred.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter A touch of fat enhances flavor and helps the fish cook beautifully.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds aroma and flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Cuts through richness and brightens the dish.
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest Adds freshness.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Adds a subtle spice.

For the Boursin Mixture

  • 1 package Boursin cheese round (5.2 oz) Garlic & fine herbs flavor recommended.
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional garnish) For garnish, adds color.
  • Lemon wedges for serving Adds extra zest and flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, mix the Boursin cheese, minced garlic, lemon zest, and lemon juice with half of the olive oil. Stir until smooth.
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel, drizzle with the remaining olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper.
  • Place the salmon fillets in the baking dish, skin side down (if applicable), and spoon the Boursin mixture evenly over each fillet.

Cooking

  • Bake the salmon for about 15–20 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork and the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for about 2 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with fresh lemon wedges.

Notes

Consider adding veggies like zucchini or tomatoes around the salmon for a complete meal. Fresh ingredients elevate the dish!
