  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice To keep pears fresh.
  • 1 teaspoon chai spice mix Can be store-bought or homemade.

Crumble Topping

  • 1 cup almond flour Provides nutty flavor and gluten-free option.
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats Adds heartiness and crispiness.
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Can use light or dark sugar.
  • 1/4 cup melted butter Binds the crumble together.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Enhances flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds comforting aroma.
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds For extra crunch.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a tart pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss sliced pears with lemon juice and chai spice mix. Pour into the tart pan.

Crumble Assembly

  • In another bowl, mix almond flour, oats, brown sugar, melted butter, and salt until crumbly.
  • Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the pears.
  • Top with sliced almonds.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and pears are tender.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days. Reheat for 15-20 seconds in the microwave if desired. This tart can be assembled ahead of time.
