  • 4 pieces chicken breasts Lean and tender, packed with protein.
  • 1 cup Pecorino Romano cheese, grated Adds sharpness and a creamy texture.

  • To taste salt Use cautiously as cheese and broth are also salty.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Use a good quality olive oil.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Adds depth and moisture to the sauce.

Cooking

  • Season chicken breasts with salt.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes per side.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add black pepper and toast for 1 minute.
  • Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, scraping up any browned bits.
  • Stir in the grated Pecorino Romano cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
  • Serve immediately with extra cheese and pepper, if desired.

Notes

For best results: Brown the chicken properly and use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Experiment with cheese for unique twists.
