  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Garlic makes everything better, no arguments here.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder A little hint of sweetness with each bite.

Preparation

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the bowl or drizzle the marinade over them and ensure they're fully coated.

Cooking

  • Once the grill is ready, place the chicken breasts evenly apart on the grate and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side.
  • During the last minutes of grilling, spoon salsa verde over each chicken breast.
  • Top with shredded pepper jack cheese and close the grill lid to let the cheese melt.
  • Remove the chicken from the grill once fully cooked (internal temperature should be 165°F) and garnish with fresh cilantro.

Notes

Let your chicken rest for a few minutes after grilling for tender bite. Serve with sides like grilled veggies or a salad.
