Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, shredded chicken, frozen vegetables, and cream of chicken soup. Use your hands or a spoon to mix everything well.
  • Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the mixture and stir to combine.
  • Grease a baking dish with olive oil, transfer the mixture, and spread evenly.
  • Top with shredded cheese.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Using day-old rice can provide a better texture. Don't skip the cheese and feel free to experiment with your favorite spices or herbs.
