For the Slaw

  • 1 cup green cabbage, shredded Fresh and crispy.
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Adds a creamy note.
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar Brightens up the slaw.
  • to taste salt and pepper For proper seasoning.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix using your hands for an effective combination.
  • Shape the mixture into patties, aiming for about 1/2-inch thick, and set aside.
  • Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat.

Cooking

  • Cook the chicken patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until fully cooked, checking the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Brush teriyaki sauce over each patty during the last few minutes of cooking.

Slaw Preparation

  • In another bowl, mix shredded cabbage, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper to make the slaw.

Assembly

  • Optionally toast the burger buns.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing a chicken patty on each bun and topping with slaw.

Notes
