  • 2 1/2 cups chicken stock Homemade is best if possible.
  • 1 1/4 cups single cream For a rich creamy texture.
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese Cheese adds flavor.
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper Season to taste.
  • 1/2 tsp flaky salt Enhances flavors.
  • 1/2 tsp sugar Balances acidity of tomatoes.

For the Noodles and Toppings

  • 7 oz ramen noodles Use high-quality ramen.
  • 1 handful fresh cilantro Fresh herbs for topping.
  • bean sprouts Adds crunch.
  • edamame beans Extra protein.
  • scallions For freshness.
  • chili oil For added flavor and heat.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and coat lightly with flour.
  • In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

Cooking the Chicken

  • Add chicken to the pot and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes each.
  • Remove chicken and set aside.

Making the Broth

  • In the same pot, add minced garlic and sun-dried tomatoes; sauté for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in smoked paprika, dried oregano, and red chili flakes.
  • Pour in chicken stock and scrape up any bits from the bottom. Bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in single cream and parmesan cheese until combined.

Finishing Touches

  • Return chicken to the pot and let simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  • Prepare ramen noodles according to package instructions.
  • Serve ramen in bowls, ladle creamy chicken sauce on top, and garnish with cilantro, scallions, bean sprouts, and chili oil.

Notes

Don’t rush the cooking of the chicken for best results. Taste as you go to adjust seasonings. Fresh ingredients enhance flavor significantly.
