  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

For the Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Creamy base of the sauce.
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce Adds sweetness.
  • 1 tbsp sriracha Adjust for spice level.
  • 1 tbsp honey Balances the heat.
  • 1 tbsp lime juice Adds brightness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cut your fresh, skinless salmon fillets into 1-inch cubes and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Coat each piece of salmon in flour, dip it in the beaten egg, then roll it in the panko breadcrumb mixture.
  • Set the coated salmon pieces aside.

Cooking

  • Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Once hot, carefully add a few salmon bites to the oil and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  • Use a slotted spoon to transfer the fried bites to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Making the Sauce

  • In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice. Whisk until smooth.

Serving

  • Drizzle the Bang Bang Sauce over the crispy salmon bites and enjoy.

Notes

For best results, let the oil heat thoroughly before frying. Don't overcrowd the pan to ensure crispy bites. Leftovers can be reheated in the oven to maintain crispiness.
