Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season both sides of the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Set up a dredging station with flour in one bowl, beaten egg in another, and breadcrumbs in a third.
  • Dredge each chicken breast: coat in flour, dip in egg, then roll in breadcrumbs.
  • Place the breaded chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and crispy.
  • Toast the sandwich buns until warm and slightly crispy.

Assembly

  • Place a crispy chicken breast on the bottom bun and top with dill pickles, lettuce, and tomato.
  • Drizzle with ranch dressing if desired and place the top bun on.
