Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, mix milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour wet ingredients into dry mix and stir until just combined.
  • In another bowl, stir melted butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon until it forms a paste.
  • Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan, drizzle half of the cinnamon filling, and swirl gently.
  • Add remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon filling, swirling gently.

Baking

  • Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  • Whisk together icing ingredients and drizzle over the warm bread before serving.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for better mixing. Avoid overmixing to keep the bread fluffy. You can add nuts or raisins for additional texture.
