  • 4 cups crumbled carrot cake Store-bought or homemade, must be moist.
  • 8 oz cream cheese Use block cream cheese for best texture.
  • 1 pkg pudding mix (cheesecake or vanilla) Adds creaminess.
  • 8 oz whipped topping Store-bought preferred for convenience.
  • 1/2 cup caramel syrup For drizzling on top.
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans) For garnishing.

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cream cheese and pudding mix according to package instructions; set aside.
  • In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer crumbled carrot cake, followed by a layer of cream cheese pudding.
  • Add a layer of whipped topping over the pudding.
  • Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a whipped topping layer on top.
  • Drizzle caramel syrup over the final layer of whipped topping.
  • Sprinkle with chopped nuts for garnish.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Be generous with layers and flavors. Consider adding spices to the whipped topping for extra flavor. Excellent for meal prepping.
