Topping

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, scraping down the sides of the bowl.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture.
  • Fold in the chopped pecans gently.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge and are perfect for meal prep. Can be made ahead and frozen.
