  • 2 tsp brown sugar Adjust sweetness to taste; can substitute with honey.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Adds richness and depth.

Milk Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole milk Or use almond or oat milk, but do not boil it.
  • 1 slice orange peel twist or an orange slice For garnish.

Preparation

  • Heat 1 cup of water in a small saucepan until it reaches a low boil.
  • Add the orange peel and cinnamon stick; let them simmer for about 5 minutes.

Brewing

  • Strain the orange-cinnamon mix into your favorite tea cup.
  • Add the black tea bag to the cup and let it steep for 3-5 minutes.

Final Touches

  • While the tea is still hot, stir in the brown sugar and vanilla extract.
  • In a separate saucepan, gently heat your milk without boiling.
  • Pour the warm milk into the tea mixture and stir. If desired, froth the milk.
  • Garnish with a twist of orange peel or an orange slice before serving.
