Preparation

  • Blend together the chopped pineapple, seeded habaneros, apple cider vinegar, water, olive oil, salt, and sugar in a blender until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into a saucepan over medium heat and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
  • After about ten minutes, taste the sauce and adjust the heat by adding more pineapple or sugar if necessary.
  • Once thickened, remove the sauce from heat and let it cool.
  • Transfer the cooled sauce to a bottle or jar and refrigerate.

Notes

Wear gloves while handling habaneros and avoid touching your face. This sauce can last for a month in the fridge.
