Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Season chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs mixed with Dijon mustard, and one with crushed pretzels.

Coating and Baking

  • Coat each chicken breast in flour, then dip in the egg mixture, and finally press into the crushed pretzels.
  • Place coated chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until fully cooked and golden brown.

Making the Sauce

  • In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat. Stir in shredded cheddar until melted and creamy.
  • Add Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper to taste, stirring until smooth.

Serving

  • Once chicken is baked, let it rest for a couple of minutes. Slice and drizzle with mustard-cheddar sauce before serving.

Notes
