  • 4 medium Zucchini Sliced into thin rounds
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Use high-quality for better flavor
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 cup Mushrooms Chopped

Seasoning and Flavoring

  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce Adds an umami flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Adjust based on spice tolerance
  • to taste Salt Essential seasoning
  • to taste Black Pepper Essential seasoning

Fresh Herbs

  • 1/4 cup Fresh Herbs Chopped parsley or basil

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Slice the zucchini into thin rounds.
  • Chop the mushrooms and mince the garlic.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add the sliced zucchini and chopped mushrooms, cooking for about 5–7 minutes until tender and golden brown.
  • Drizzle with soy sauce, and sprinkle in the red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  • Finish with freshly chopped herbs before serving.

Serving

  • Serve warm, straight from the skillet.

Notes

This recipe is great for leftovers and is even better the next day as the flavors meld. Feel free to double or triple the recipe for larger crowds. Adjust vegetables and seasonings to your preference.
